I've always loved the way that the Rogue Trader era's lack of official vechiles inspired so many pioneers in the hobby to covert and scracth-build their own solutions to the problem, so much so that I've kind of tried to keep the tradition going, even now when there are loads of official vehicles available and even plenty of non-GW alternatives on the market too.
This "counts as" Rhino proxy was made from a 1/32 Tamiya M113 APC model kit, with additional scratch-built armour and detailing as well as parts from Ramshackle Games that really help to add the necessaryily rough and ready look that is so characteristic of the RT era, and I feel that this would stand in well for or line up perfectly next to an original Rhino or Land Raider.
