I want to build something

Doing the village in 3D would be great. I'd love to see that, at least they made the walls thick on the map so you could probably even get away with thinning them down a bit from the ½" to make the building rooms more playable (5mm foam core or 6mm XPS perhaps?). I don't really remember any drawings of the village from the scenario box, were there any? I have a vague memory of lots of dotted spaces in the book? Anyhow break out the coffee stirrers and crack on!

I'm thinking of only doing interiors on the tavern and possibly the Royal barge building. The rest will be removable with a copy of the building image from the map beneath.
There is no pictures of the village (but some very amusing descriptions).
With it being a village that works the Marsh I see it mainly being thatched buildings, so I'm watching all the model thatch roof videos on YouTube, seems like something that can take forever, but look amazing or quick and look a bit rubbish.

I think the best thatched roof technique I've seen is getting some Faux fur from the fabric store and using a paint brush to brush it in one direction with PVA glue.

I may be going a bit over the top, I feel like I'm building a real house. It's a slow burn project to give me something to do while at home (my house is very busy and I always have a vast list of jobs to do)
I will DAS clay the wattle and dorb in the gaps over Christmas. The chimney was done with miliput and was quite enjoyable to do.
I'm recording my stuff on a blog soon, both the ridding, from Blood on the streets and also nightmare in blackmarsh are my focus, luckily I still have all my card buildings and love them.

Scratchbuilds and a blog??

Awesome sauce.

Great work, is DAS clay gonna be easy to get between the beams?
I have not used it in decades but it always seemed quite tough?

PS: Is it a shoppe?

Looks GREAT - I bet you enjoyed it?
@Michael Stockin has made some luvverly buildings (sure other have too that I haven't seen).
I'm a fan of the 'touches' - reckon this place should have a rat, cat, dog? Maybe a goose family?
DAS and PVA - sounds do-able, be good to hear how that goes.
Great work
