Help me rebuild a Licorn !

Hello oldhammer folks,

I got half of a licorn from a bretonnian setand i'd like to keep this mini and build the other half ?

what are your suggestion to remodel and refill the missing part ?

Your clay works are not bad but a little crude-given the material you came astonishingly close.
Use green stuff and start by slowly building it up.
Use twisted wire to support the legs as "bones". If you get that close with clay, you should end up with a very good result with the "true" stuff. Just don't be hasty.

Licorn, is that what they call a Unicorn in French?

anyway, I would try finding a suitable unarmored plastic horse and see if you can use that to rebuild the missing half, IIRC the unicorn isn't that much bigger than a plain plastic horse so maybe you'd have to extend some limbs and do a bit of filling, but surely that's easier than trying to sculpt it from scratch
 
Licorn is indeed the french for unicorn. I think the advice above are great. To make your life easier, You could use another horse half you can cut to fit the size and shape and where you 'll just have to fill the blanks.
