A new mistery for those of you interested in all things greenskin: a chap on Instagram has just posted pics of an orc he has just finished painting, looking for infos about it, as clearly resulting from the mating of a marauder standard to a citadel orc:

IMG-20211217-112510-128.jpg

(all images belongs to Charlyswamp on IG)
At first I obviously thought it was just a well thought-out and well executed conversion of a less common variant of the Harboth's standard bearer*, but Charlyswamp - who got it unpainted as part of a job lot - told me it looked originally cast that way, as it had no glue residues whatsoever: when he got it the standard pole was about to break off the right hand - and eventually did - forcing him to pin it and reinforcing the joint with some putty. The lower part of the pole, on the contrary, looked integral with the same hand.
* Gorb, as seen in the first ad here>http://www.solegends.com/citads1987b/index.htm
I recon it would be a very interesting discovery if the mini was a genuine Marauder-Citadel hybrid.
