Harry paints Bretonnians

Brigands woth Crossbows:

a few more:

and with spear:
(I imagine these the men at arms of a poorer/rural knight)

Here they are together

Looking good Harry! I've just started tracking down many of these guys myself...I hope I can make mine look as good as yours!

Let me know if you have/need any spare as I have some and am looking to fill gaps.

Cheers,

Blue

@ Blue
I may well have a few left overs.
Certainly will have various archers as I have a lot of them.

@pahviv'
Never sell or give away anything until you have to. :grin:

@Giant C'

Their will be both Dragons and Dwarves. In fact it was the Perry Dwarves that got me into this mad collecting thing.

Robin Hood and his merry men.

Still not finished ... but taking shape.

Great stuff (as usual) Harry, looks like a lot of fun.
Many thanks. It was all good fun. Right down to the archery contest with my sons toy bow. :grin:

Not especially oldhammer .... except the using minis you love ... and I love these:

These are some brilliant little sculpts from the talented hands of Kev White at Hasslefree miniatures.
(If you have not discovered him ... well worth a look)

First saw these on Shas'El Tael's excellent Warhammer Quest Thread.

http://www.warseer.com/forums/showt...en-dungeons-of-old-(large-compilation-images)

Not only had he given these minis an outstanding paint job but he had produced Character cards for them as Warhammer quest cards and written an adventure around them .... wonderful, wonderful stuff ... well worth a look.

What else could I do ... but try to match his paint jobs as closely as possible.

I am pretty happy with these especially given how small these are.

So this was what got me started painting Bretonnians in large numbers back in January:

Here are a couple of pictures from the HUGE siege game I played at the 'Oldhammer games day' ... "Bring out your lead 2014". It absolutely dwarfed the GROG games. Ridiculous number of miniatures involved. (All beautifully painted by the various folks involved)
Another fantastic weekends gamimg. (Thanks to all involved).
