It was great fun. Thanks a lot once again for hosting the game, supplying all the toys and providing grub Harry!
Rob_S: I was the DM. There were a few twists I suppose. Mostly the scenario was just a goal and stuff they could find and explore about the board. If I get time I'll post up the scenario notes. Doesn't look like you can attach pdf's to messages on this forum, but I'll see if I can upload the cards and stuff if people are interested.
Basically though, the players were all Necromancers attempting to gather powerful pumpkin seeds before the rite is enacted at the end of the scenario. They began with no troops, they had to summon everything in game. Exploring tombs might give them heroes or more power, or release a Foul Beast. Buildings all had cards describing the contents, which could be good or bad. Event cards every turn brought on things like the adventuring party, or a pack of giant wolves on the hunt for bones etc. The village defenders were simply trying to survive the night. Eventually, Paul saw that he couldn't beat Harry for the top Necromancer spot and so spent his magic points on making sure the Rite was successful despite the interference of the adventurers and Boeuf de Bourgignon.
