Harry gets ready for Halloween

Hi Harry I have a bottle of vellejo (or how ever it is spelt) verdigrises' I can drop around to you?

Here is it in use
http://archive.brushthralls.com/paintin ... -my-2.html

Personally I'm not a fan of it, and paint mine using watered down enchanted blue and then a touch of waaaagh green ink (old style rather than the new gw inks). which gives this sort of effect.

all the best
Whisper

Thanks to everyone for the help with the verdigris. Really appreciate it.

Those bits from titan forge - what did you think of the quality of casting?, I recently got some of their zomblins and whilst the detail was excellent the was an awfull lot of miscast areas, I have never worked with resin before so not sure if this is the norm... ;)

They look real good by the way :)
I can only speak as I find ... I am not a big fan of resin ... but these we perfect casts.
No bubbles. No miscast areas. No flash. Spot on.

Don't listen to 'em - I working my way through my Reaper Bones at the moment too. Cracking figures.

And I am waiting for mine to arrive! Was very tempted by those Titan Forge bases before I found an alternative. How are they in the resin? The Titan Forge figures all look pretty nice in the ebay photos but would be good to hear the opinion of someone who's actually bought some.
Well I have never bought anything from them before so I don't know if it is always this good.
But see my post above about the quality.

Verdigris not done yet but here is an update on my WIP The garden of Morr:

I like the look you've achieved for the stone, Harry. What's your opinion of the Garden of Morr set? It looks like a fair amount of terrain (and variety of positioning possibilities) for the price, although I don't know in person anyone who owns one. I've been thinking of picking up the set for Mordheim.

I own it, still on sprues though. I'm sure we can arrange a viewing ;)

Thanks very much fellas.

It is a great set. It is one of my fave kits ever. Dave Andrews is a talent chap. I am building this kit straight from the box but there is huge potential to make it go along way by making the bases bits of graveyard and re-basing the tombs.

The garden of Morr is not the only Graveyard GW have produced ... they made this one a few years back ... I am giving it a repaint:

Forgeworld have also produced some graveyaed bits
I have also started painting another one of these:

Heres one I painted earlier:
It has places for skellies rising from the graves ... to be added from the plastic kit.

Forge World also produced this bad boy:
I picked mine up cheap on ebay ... without the alter ...
... so if anyone has one.

... and based on the Heroquest tomb:

A bit of plasticard and some harsh language and .... I have a couple of these:

This is some seriously good scenery. I really like your marble effect on the graves, it's sometuimes hard not to overdo it but you managed just fine.

Thanks very much.
Simplicity itself ... Normal dry brush then a few pure white wiggley lines (a bit like forked lightening) and the jobs a good 'un.
