Golgfag's preparations for BOYL2025

Well, as those two ships were part of a reasonably priced game of Space Fleet on ebay (less than £40 stirling, which on ebay is cheap), it only seemed right to add to my collection, this will give me two complete sets for next year.

Unfortunately, the accompanying eldar ships were not in great shape heavily coated in glue, missing sails and broken bases. Which has led to me building new sails from wire, plasti-card and green stuff, drilling out the old stands and providing new ones. All I have to do now is splash a drop of paint over them, first base coats applied.;)

looking great. Only difference I can see is the sails are in a different order from the ones you posted before but that's no issue.

Not particularly preparation for BOYL, but it's what I'm currently splashing a touch of colour over some old Essex medievals.

I brought these figures before my wife and I had kids, that's thirty years plus and I have to say they certainly hold their own in my opinion.8-)
