A massive thank you to everyone who entered, everything looks so gloriously oldhammer. This is just a formality, of course, as now owning such an awesomely painted miniature is a massive win. Nevertheless, let the polling commence! This year for a change we're giving everyone up to two equally weighted votes, so spread the love! Voting will close on 21st December at the end of the day (00:00 UTC 2025/12/22).

Well we'll no doubt play around a bit over the years. I'd be curious to see how many people cast both votes (you don't have to) and how many people vote for themselves with their second vote Anyhow I guess suggestions on a postcard to Fimm for any format tweaks, although I think generally keeping things fairly loose is the aim.

It's all good. Making the hard decisions was fun. I tried to ignore the type of model itself as much as I could, and look at technical things but all balanced with 'points' for esoteric "Oldhammer" vibe.

Indeed, I find that for oldhammeryness I favour metallics over NMM, blended shading over edge highlights, etc.

For me, the paintjob needs to feel like it is taking me back to the 80's rather than just wowing me with technical skill.

Two votes is definitely better than one as there is so much great stuff at least I can spread the appreciation a little wider (Although I'm clearly disappointed the system doesn't allow me to vote for myself twice ).
