The quest continues. Some interesting models ( I hope), a mix of Metal and GW Sprue plastic .
I think these are supposed to be Roman Cavalry from Footsore minis, now Serving as Dunland Cavalry. The symbols of Dunland are the Crebane (Crows), and the Wolf, shield i free handed that. The Red shield was hard, must have made 5 false starts. The banner i stole from the Starks, printed
Viking Bersekers, also from Footsore. Of course always one guy who has to try and impress Saruman
Warriors of Rohan from GW most recent LOTR releases. nothing too exciting. Basically box Art. These are many, many very small pieces to assemble but you get some depth and reliefs you really can't do with molds. They're Good, not my favorite but cost per figure is really low and i should be able to get a decent Ebay price for ones i don't use.
here's all 24 from the set, you get 2 of each so I'll probly not use much more than 12 as i don't like duplicates in my Dio's
and some casualties. Didn't go crazy with these, they're metal and OK quality but i relied on washes to get me thru this project. The horse is plastic Reaper, which is a great material if you need ot kill something . Another free handed shield
