Fimm's painted models

also one problem with display pieces too much is the edges.. depends on the sword type, alot didn't have that sharp if at all sharp, blades. Taking something like a Broad sword, you swung with a weight that did the cutting. Compared to a Katana or Tachi (which was what evolved into the Katana around the Kamakura Period) which have 1 shape edge and less weight, more for slashing then hacking.

Back with some more skeletons ahead of a game for BOYL.

More (as always) on the blog.

Very nice. I like the addition of the brighter colours. Bases are also very good.

EDIT - just read the rest of the story over on your blog, what a lovely tail. Top marks to that generous donor!

Very nice! How many more are required to make up the units?
I have some unpainted skelebobs from the Skeleton Horde box set that am sure could give a lick of colour before August?

Yes please if you're happy to loan them. I know how fragile they can be! Probably don't need the cavalry, but the infantry would be a great help.

There are a LOT of skeletons in those photos, maybe as many as 150! Any extras you can supply would be very welcome!
Hard to tell from the pictures how many are in the units, but am sure you have scrutinised them to death!

I have x18 skeletons with hand weapons and shields, x5 grim reapers, and x5 with spears.

Will see how I get on with other minis for BOYL and quickly slap some paint & base these chaps if I can.
