Hi everyone

I'm still alive!

Since the start of lockdown I've found it easier/within my attention span to post on Facebook rather than here. Sorry. Facebook seem to have noticed and have now disabled my account to force me to spend more time on the beloved forum, so lucky you! I have been painting quite a bit so over the next few weeks I will endeavour to photograph, blog and post here just like the good ol' days of Oldhammer. Looking forward to it! :)

These are awesome. Loving the tartan, all very Slaine McRoth! (and the actual Slaine is there as well!)

Very cool and oddly metal. If Kiss were a bunch of druids? Or if a bunch of druids became a hair band? Gwar, but somewhat less camp? (I'm suddenly struck with musical ideas, but . . . we won't go there just now.)

Anyway . . . very well done!

Thats a wonderful army. Very evocative and a great collection of minis.

Now more importantly what did you do to get yourself suspended from Facebook? Please tell us so I can do the same ;)

I have no idea. They gave no explanation, just said they had made "a mistake".

Facebook does not encourage anything that has to do with goats, this forum has too many references to it so I guess they spotted you :lol:

Just spotted Ukko lurking behind Slaine. Wish I had picked these up in the Foundry sale before they got cancelled

Marvelous. Those antlers are something else. My favourite is the bald guy with the big sword and helmet under his arm. So proud and powerful looking.

OH, really nice. I love the tree shield on the second last guy. How did you do that red? It looks very good.

Just the general red. Realize I made it look like I was asking about red on a shield, thats a mistake on my part.

It's Vallejo Model Colour flat red, washed with Army Painter Red Tone with a VERY LITTLE dab of Vallejo Sepia Ink in it, then edge highlighted with Foundry Bright Red 15C. :)

Those are some nice figures, the orange and red work really well together. I really like that you made the central crest-feather of the heroquest warrior white, by the way.
