Femuary

Haa, you got it! That's the point of it, a kind of catch-22 attached to a powerful magic item. The paladin really ought to return the relic - but that's a tough side-quest and at the end instead of a reward she'll lose her magic shield. Which is the right thing to do, just not the thing any player would want to do. So the shield looks kinda gruesome and out of place deliberately.
Also, there's a brand-new modern version of warhammer quest released recently and afaig one of the heroes is a paladin lady with some holy ancestor bones, so I stole that idea.

Sabine Stockhausen, landlady of The Stocks Inn.

After much deliberation around the base, I went for outside.
Although the interior planks made sense in terms of 'realism'.
I would never make the inside of the Inn and would only ever use the models outside, so having planks when they are in the yard, or road etc seemed silly.

My offering is my Inq28 version of Michael Perry's Enforcer 54mm Barbaetta form the Inquisitor rule book. Formally it sort of cyberpunk faery I've tried to resculpt her into body armour and better weapon sadly no cyber hound which is very unusual for me but i couldn't locate a running hound so I've left space and hope the hive mind can suggest a suitable mini.

i've managed to slip one more in before the end of the month.

i had a few paints to replenish, and they have coat d'arms on sale, so i slipped her into the order to 'complete' my punk collective.

I'm trying to find all the female dwarfs. I've got Dimgol, and I know there's a shield maiden, but I think the last one I saw was £26, which seemed bonkers. I keep hoping I'll find a job lot of mixed Warhammer in a car boot sale or something that has all my hit list in it. Though I would have to go to a car boot sale for that to happen.

What an amazing turnout of capable ladies this has turned out to be! Well done all.
I have but one last guy to contribute

Kind of an 'ebay rescue' this '85 Paladin lost her hammer to the ravages of time, so I replaced it with a gobbo bow. The pose fits an archer, I think and she will probably join the gang of corsairs I have mapped out for some later date

[Warfork Fantasy Battles] The Innkeepers

I had these three minis from Fenryll for some time in my pile of shame, having bought them for an old school building project that I also have not started yet. When Femuary was started, I remembered this pack and started with the female miniture.

As usual, I mounted the mini on a metal base.

I brushed on a base coat of Molotow Black, then gave the mini a drybrush of Pro Acryl Bold Titanium White. The effect was turned down with a glaze of Kimera Oxide Brown Dark, which was followed by another drybrush of white.

The skirt was painted orange, shaded down with violet.

The blouse was painted with a thin glaze of Kimera Pthalo Blue (Green Shade) and Kimera Pthalo Blue, before being highlighted back up to Kimera The White in several layering steps.

The base got my usual base cover, and with that my Femuary entry is done - last minute.

Glamour shots see in My Unconnected and Random Side Projects.
