Another little project I have on the go ... over on Warseer.

I have a whole bunch of Giants knocking around my hobby room.

I thought I would try and get some painted.
I thought I would start 'another' project log to motivate me.
(It worked out so well with my 'Tale of four steam tanks' log. :grin:)

Here is the Giant I have already painted. He is for my Night Goblin army.

img9637a.jpg

These are some of the others I have in mind to build and paint ...

I have another one of these I thought I would paint up for the Empire:

img9656t.jpg

I have this guy I can use as a vampire Counts Giant:

img7594bk.jpg

and amongst this unlikely looking pile of bits is one for my Tomb Kings: (This lot is now in "The Dip")

img9667a.jpg

Obviously I have one of these:

img9682u.jpg

Planning to build him for a pirate themed army.

There's more .... :grin:

I have one of these for my Orcs and Goblins:

Fantastic mini. look at that face :

img9673q.jpg

Nice size as well:

img9672x.jpg

There's more ... :grin:

I also have one of these :

img9641z.jpg

img9643t.jpg

Now I know what you thinking ... your thinking 'Harry, surely that is Beast man from He-Man' .... and you would be wrong ....
clearly it is a Slave giant for my Mountain themed Ogre kingdoms army. The paint scheme is going to be more Yeti than Big Foot.
I think he will look well with the new minis GW have done.

He will need some gluing and Green stuff ... But he is not bad for scale :

img9644as.jpg

So just stick with me on this one. :grin:

There's more :grin:

I also have one or two vintage ones I want to get done:

I have done this guy (One of Citadels first Giants) already:

img9246ag.jpg

img9248.jpg

But I have one of these (C28 multi part Giant)

img9093.jpg

img9091y.jpg

I have a couple more vintage ones .... not so sure who or what they are.

I think this one was a mountain Giant from Grenadier:

img9241v.jpg

and this guy ... I think he is a Storm Giant and he is either from Ral Partha OR Grenadier:

Pirate Giant with added boat as fighting platform.
Just add mast, crows nest, rigging and fill boat with pirate Goblins and the jobs a good 'un. :grin:

The Orc and Goblin Giant is just about finished.
I just need to find something suitable to hang around his neck to replace the missing bits.

The storm giant:

Tried to do the base so it looked like the whirlwind was sucking up some of the sand/dirt from the ground:
(Just needs grass to finish it off.)

Finished the next one:

So those are the finished Giants so far.

This is the guy on the table at the moment:

Rubbish photo and still some work to do but you can see where I am going with him.

Hopefully this thread will soon see me working on The Citadel Giant.

Gorgeous giants, one and all. If 'gorgeous' is a word that can be applied.

I have an old, old giant that has been gathering dust on a shelf since he was last used in battle probably about 20 years ago.

Any idea what make he is? I certainly don't. He doesn't 'look' like citadel.

Jungedi! What a gigantic amount of talent and dilligence! Impressive collection and great work making these old gems come alive.
I particularly like the way the giant troll's skin matches the base - stone troll in his natural habitat.

I hate you Harry. :(
So many great models that I will never have. That He-Man toy is actually looking really good!

@Padre

Thanks ... that is exactly what i was aiming for.

@Thansants

I was never into He-man myself ... I just got 'Beastman' of E-bay with this in mind.
I had a look at the time and couldn't see any of the others with qhite the same potential.

@Da Imp

Well you say that .... I never thought to own all these either BUT many of these I have just picked up off E-bay when I have seen them going cheap. I have not paid silly money for any of them.

I am glad you like the 'Beast man' toy ... He is now finished. Pictures to follow.

All of these are great Harry! I had seen some of them before (Nagash and the old school giants) but not all. The snow iant conversion works very well and I love your Bone Giant conversion, such a simple headswap make the Tomb Kings monster look so much more menacing than the goofy look it usually has. Very nicely envisioned and executed! I still really like the resculpt of Nagash' head too. Very cool and thanks for sharing! :)

Thanks. Yes, the Bone Giant worked out really well. The head was perfect with that bit of an egyptian feel to it.

The credit for the resculpt goes to Rikard. I very talented chap with the green stuff. He did a wonderful job of recreating in 3D the original mark Gibons artwork for me.

@Blue
The Night Goblin was a very simple conversion ... even with my limited ability with the green stuff.
it was just a bit of a hood and the job wasa good 'un.

@Thantsants
He was in disguise ...hows dis your regognise him? :grin:

I've only just noticed thread and I have to comment on what you did to Nagash.. it's amazing the difference the resculpt to his face makes. I always thought it was his hat that made him look stupid when it's actually been his face! Very nice to see him look more like how he does on page 15 of the Undead army book. The other models are obviously very nice as well but as an Undead player who hates how Nagash looks I just had to comment! :)

He did a great job indeed. I read on your post on Frothers that it was sculpted by him. He also did an amazing version of Lord Kroak based on the Mark Gibbons artwork from the 5th edition book:
