eBay Bargains, Deals, etc.

^^I had that once and gave it away to a friend. :D Ah well. On the other hand, I believe that friend has it in paint now and is much enjoying it, which is the important thing at the end of the day.

Couple that might interest our US members:

A couple of nice bikes, the older ones (left and right) were if I remember correctly designed to take the RTB01 marines as riders. Anyhow $12 ends Monday.

[EDIT - sold for $20]

Not that human arms are as hard to substitute in with newer proxies, but that looked like a nice little set and with the backpacks I'd be tempted. $10 ends Monday

[EDIT - sold for $26]

No idea what that seller is like to buy from (all good feedback), but they have some nice older bits and pieces up for sale and their individual bits (things like exo armour arms and so forth) seem far more reasonably priced than you often see such bits. Might be one to note down if you are in the US?

Then one that I wondered about bidding on, but decided much as I like the models I'd already spent a bit much this year. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/168394594922

Lovely (probably all of them?) set of Plague Marines, ended up selling for £192, so not really a bargain, it was better when I looked at it just before closing at £100, but even at £10 a marine it was a little rich for my taste at nearly £20 a marine, ouch.

Don’t recognise all of those jet bikes!? 🤔

£20 is just silly money… Nicely enough painted, but guess that the buyer would strip them to paint themselves?

Several of the arms in that lot are for squats.
So they are, sharper eyes than mine! Some years back I forked out far too much money for half a dozen squat arm sprues so I had enough for my models. I guess while the lead lasts the plastic arms get knocked off and spares on sprues get thrown out with the other modelling chaff.

Noticed this seller today on eBay - a good selection of WDs with low starting prices for auction - finishing up in a week or so.
Might be useful if you're looking to fill a couple of gaps in a collection? Not a seller I've bought from before so can't say what they are like.

Speaking of White Dwarf, run from 1-33 here: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/358234727553
Didn't we have a chap here looking to sell 1-33, same person?

Flip sake! circa buy it now £1330 odd for antique printed mags bleeding nostalgia (and a good proportion of it adverts)! :)

A good chunk of change indeed, but might be in the ballpark if you tot it all up, when I was filling in the early gaps quite a few WDs were in the £15-20 ballpark. Although I have wondered if the prices for WD #1 had started to come down something more extravagantly reasonable form the crazy prices we saw a while back. I thought I was doing a crazy thing when I paid ~£60 for my copy a good number of years ago! :)
Doing a few searches now it does look like prices might have dropped a bit, I guess they might be looking at a lower price for the set now, I'd probably add "accept offers" to the listing myself and see what came in, but I'm guessing we might be much closer to my lower estimate in the original thread.

Some more WD batches currently at quite reasonable prices I saw today with two-ish days to run. So you might be looking at £2-4 an issue, which is probably quite reasonable.

Again not auctions from anyone I'm familiar with, but I thought some of them might be of interest for those looking to pad out collections. Despite having them all I'll confess to be tempted myself :)

Then as a final noted auction of the old dwarf I saw this bundle of loveliness:

[EDIT - sold for £32]
Currently at £25 and a day or two to run. Some great issues in there.

Looks like someone got some bargains (edited in sold prices) - last lot is going at seven tonight (BST) and is currently £21, so it looks like that is going to be about £3ish an issue, which is quite good I think. I'm sure when I was collecting mine it was easily double that.
