eBay Bargains, Deals, etc.

Happened to see a WFB 2nd edition box auction with uncut figures whilst browsing. Books look fairly neat and other than a bit of a crease box looks nice and clean - so if you're after a copy for the collection you might want to take a look: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/257064473082
. 3 days to run no bids yet and opening at about £17.
I can see that jumping up in a few days. Better get selling pictures of my hairy feet. Might get paid more if I stand on Lego.

Tbh I'm surprised, shame I had to put money on electric or I'd have a pop at it myself. Still, I've seen some go for about 50/60 quid recently so it's not like I'm never gonna get a chance again.

That and 3rd ed/WH Armies is next on my shopping list, must stay focused and not get distracted by other things.

Wow - https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/306448273915
- a plastic Predator tank I had bookmarked since it looked in good nick and the opening price was nice and low ... not now 12 bids later and three days to run and we're on £126! Someone really really wants that tank.
Would be unfortunate if the auto cannon barrel breaks like mine did after spending that kinda coin. Bit dodgy those old auto cannons.

Old predators do look great painted up Legion of the Damned colours though. *Has happy nostalgic memories*

That is a very neat example!

Mine is sat unpainted with glued turret and sponsons gathering dust… no one explained to young Brother Meredith you could articulate the guns rather than locking them in place with polystyrene cement!!

Funny, I really don’t recall that inlay packaging, but maybe just me…
Had a full set at one point gathering dust when I drifted away from the hobby, think they were given away to someone else.

The plastic tray? My sets from back then had those - space of rate nine paints, some slots on the right for brushes, some mixing wells at the top and a water well bottom right. I don't recall ever using the tray for it's intended purpose however!

And now they charge you a small fortune for something less useful that only does one of those things. 😆

Gosh that is an impressive haul of Squats. I guess it must feel really hard to break it down and sell it in bits if you spent ages collecting it all together. I'd love to have it, but I really really do have too many unpainted models already. I mean I guess value wise you could probably even buy and resell the bits you didn't need! Attaching a pic from ebay for posterity.
