haha I forgot about him and you sniped me. bleeping bleep of a bleep! My own fault, had only remembered to put in an initial bid as a marker. Beautiful mini, but can you do me a favour - once you've got it and let me know how it measures up to other minis in your collection? I'm going to pursue one at the next available opportunity, but keen to see how he'll fit in with the rest of my elves.

Aww, that's sweet! To be fair, you caught me napping, and I have several other projects I need to be working on more urgently than the elves. I actually have some other Tom Meier elves (I think they are actually meant to be part of a diorama) that are still waiting for a role in my army. They are slightly small compared to my other elves, but not so small that they seem like a different scale altogether (unlike his beautiful but, for my purposes, useless early 80s elves)

If you do see another, let me know!

All that being said, if in a year or so's time I still haven't managed to find one, I'm going to hunt you down and... wait, you live in Australia? Ah, forget it.

I feel for you, I've got to replace 10 windows soon myself. Not cheap. Just try to think of all the energy you'll save ;)

I am planning to bid on a lot of Steves auctions, but I am afraid I don't have the funds, so will probably be outbid. Which of course is best for the seller, but not for me.

Yea, unfortunately for people like us, he's pretty good at making sure the widest audience sees them and he gets the highest prices :lol:
