Some of you may find this useful? :?:

Favorite searches, when looking for classic lead at the moment :

Current general ones are - Citadel, preslotta, pre-slotta, pre slotta, Slann, lizardmen & Goblins, when looking for additions to my collection of 70's and 80's lead; I then have a series of refinements which I'm not going to post here, as I don't need the competition , but they should be fairly obvious to those of you who have seen my collection.

But when I was building my Foundry, Macedonian / Early Successor army I had to be really careful because sellers would use titles and descriptions, which I wouldn't for first thought of, so generally found myself using Macedonians, Foundry, phalangites, pike & Greeks - now, these would sometimes show me things a couple of times, but to get what I wanted I found it a necessary evil.

Hope this helps in peoples searches

I just got a good deal on a WHFB 3rd edition book, possibly due to someone listing it as 2nd edition in the title. It always pays to check easy misspellings and similar subject matter.

WOW that is amazing value there Aiteal, good job. Now paint them, but not before ya Hobbos :)

Yeah, I'm surprised by the end price, the other bidders included guys with 3-4000 feedback, so I figured they would swoop in with a big offer in the last minute after testing the water.
I'm such a slow painter they will sit in the pile for at least 6 months.
Slowly but surely the Slann force is building up, close to 40 infantry and 10 cold one riders now, and a few cold one handlers (just one cold one hound so far though)

Errr...8 years  Where was I before?

Oh, and Asslessman - the answers NO to the question on the redemptionists - why do you deserve them any more than the next chap?

I clearly don't deserve them more than any other lad, I was just trying to politely say (with a smile and saying please) that I'm very interested in them. I have no intention (and clearly neither the power nor right ;)) to forbid anyone to bid on them. I believe noone takes any offence when another user says "IT'S MINE" after a link to say he wants it (I don't anyway).

Now what on earth gave you that crazy idea? Ah yes, my ebay userID...

I was living in Bridgend, South Wales when I set up that ebay account. Because I've had it for a while and can't really change it now, and I do get the "Lincoln? But I thought you lived in Bridgend" question from time to time.
