Figures. I damn near put down a $200 bid in the last minute but my wife would have murdered me. Same thing happened with those WFRP books I linked to earlier. Sold and then the next week all three books appeared from one super at a much higher price.

they really aren't worth that

they are pretty cool but the sculpts are rough

Hum, Well a 36 strong unit maybe is a little pricey but getting your hands on one of each is reaaly a gret idea. i actually took alot of pleasure painting mine, just based them on 40x40 bases to makes them count as ogres . The ones I have were especially well cast and much more detailed than some more recent stuff. Anyway, it's just a personnal taste.

I was going to ask if $36 was a good price until I saw that it's 12 blisters of them!

amazing price if you could get them for that price

I imagine they will go pretty high

so those sold for 150

now this

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Chaos-Snakemen- ... 3cd4a84e84

hmmmmm

12 different auctions for $40 each

Not surprised to be honest, I've seen a lot of nice sized lots being snapped up by traders and resellers only to come back round at a much higher price. Tough to get a good bargain these days, invariably, traders will bump the price up, and I can understand their position. If they set the market price high, it's easier to shift their items as well. Good if you're a seller, not so if you're a casual buyer or collector.

There are exceptions, of course, but I've seen a lot of nice lots or finds being broken up and resold a little bit later. Trying to lay off ebay for a while, hopefully the prices cool off a bit.

don't get me wrong, they're ultra cool but the quality of the models is lacking IMO. That doesn't mean I don't have a unit that I will likely never trade away though.

I can't imagine too many people are dying to spend that type of cash on one pack.

OK, I see what you mean, it's true the level is not even on the whole range, I was quite impressed by the level of detail and general pose on some of them (S'siron or Slalaret) and rather disappointed on another (Higgat Dwarf Slicer).

EDIT : Yes you're right, the weapons look kinda strange

For the Epic collectors, 15 old school metal Epic Rhinos, with the bars on the front, and 3 metal Whirlwinds here. Not bad at £1 each!

Original metal Epic Eldar Jetbikes for a quid each here

Can anyone tell me if this bloodbowl item is anything special?

300962338930

I'm considering by a couple of other things from him and would pick this up for the shipping discount if it worth it.

Thanks

2nd edition human and dwarf refs...relatively common but not quite as widespread as players from the same era.

The trophy is the actual 'Blood Bowl' trophy (as opposed to the 'Spike' or 'Chaos Cup' trophies). I can't tell from the pic if it's the earlier version or the later 2002 version which was available until relatively recently with 3 other trophies directly from GW.

Does that help?

Now see Chico...I'm never sure if you're serious or not... :?

It looks like two of them might be missing weapons...where they from?
