Been diving back into playing recently after discovering the joy of Five Leagues From the Borderlands. That led to a few sudden bursts of solo activity with some short lived campaigns, punctuated by manic painting spells. It helps that we moved house recently and I've been able to set up a dedicated gaming space in the garage and painting space in the home office.
Now that I have a bit more painted, I'm focussing on getting some early Warhammer action in. Some dwarves have jumped to the front of the painting queue so that I can run Ziggurat of Doom for my daughter, who just turned 7 and I'm hoping that will lead to some regular family gaming time. I also bought the rerelease of HeroQuest a while back - the plastics went into my daughter's pile, but I have enough Chaos and gribblies that I can run games for the whole family using my preslotta collection.
So, I don't play nearly enough at the moment, but hoping that will change soon. My daughter's already played and enjoyed a bit of Mordheim and some newer skirmish games, and she's at the age now that I was when I started playing, so I'm hoping I'll have a regular opponent for years to come there. Eventually my work hours will go back to a more normal schedule as well, which will free me up to explore local clubs and hopefully get out and meet some fellow gamers
