Cult Limos

I'm doing a decent dive into the internet but I can only find a few clues here and there...

For the the record, does anyone know the exact models of toy cars that were used as the chassis for the 2 incredible Genestealer limo conversions we're all so familiar with - from the Rogue Trader Cult army list?

I believe one may have been a matchbox car from the K115 series but I have no idea what actual car was used. The other? I have no clue

I'm going to do conversions and I'd like to be as accurate as possible to the source material

Any help with this would be seriously appreciated!

The Limousines in question. They are so cool! The cab of the one on the right does match the lines of the Matchbox Superkings Mercedes 190E.

I don't know if this is any help, but Wargame Exclusive do a 3D print Cult Limo. I understand if you want to scratch/convert your own that the print may not appeal.

You can make out the ID code on the one car, but guess that is what you have seen too?

Lots of fun to be had building you own limos from model cars and plasticard! Search of the forum will bring up mine and a few other cult projects. 😊

What I liked about the Genestealer cult army was that it was an example of how multi faceted Rogue Trader era forces could be.

So they could be a bit Imperial Guard, a bit Chaos and a bit Tyranid whilst making complete sense in context.

Even the Ork list allowed for Ork/Genestealer hybrids and depending on the list human forces as well.

There are plenty of plastic car kits out there in 1/32, 1/24 and 1/25 scale you could probably use as a basis for a conversion.
