:grin: You must be thinking of me in college... 8-) I used to have hair down to my butt....however...once the forehead became a sixhead and eventually and eighthead :grin: the ponytail started to look a "stringy" so I went with the low maintenance buzz cut.

And yeah...beard for the winter to cut the wind...in the summer I'll go down to a goatee to keep cool... :ugeek:

I'd love to say for sure that I was ever young and spry...but I can certainly confirm that I am not Currently young and spry... ;) As my dad used to say ...you can't always be young...but you can always be immature.. :grin:

Another beardy beardling, though. I can see how not having any facial hair is going to be severly hampering my Oldhammer cred in the future.
 
It's all about the Beardhammer!

For Beardhammer you must have 2 out of 3 of the following:

Beard (Duh!)
Skinhead or short cut hair
Beer Belly!

Veterans of Beardhammer may use the campaign pack: Nudehammer!
 
One out of four for me - although the primary criteria - painted army - is also lacking so I don't have to reveal which one yet...
 
- bear belly : almost but just after drinking beer
- beard - CHECK
- owning a cat : double check
- short hair : sort of (one inch long)

I'd say it's worth a 3/4 with a sure 2/4
 
Beer Belly : check (although it is almost certainly caused by chocolate rather than beer)
Beard : check ( with added twirley moustachio )
Owning a cat : quadruple check
Short Hair : Fail - Damn hair squig has been buried in there like a tic for as long as I care to remember
 
This all makes me think about what would be the average oldhammer profile?

Definitely a man, most probably british (50% chance I guess), age : from 30 to 50 ? what else?

Disposable income aka more money then time

Of course I don't quite fit intoo the sterotype.

Actually for a change I'm not in the least surprised to see your actual face, East Coast, archeologist with an interest in Git-ars and miniature dwarves..Yep spot on actually.

I've been cultivating a beard the past few months rather than the usual simply unshaved look it progressing well. Hopefully by OHD it will be nicely ducktailed with handlebar mustachio on top. So I hit 3 of the 4 beard hammer requirements, can't we drop the cats? Unless people are pretending their cats are beards using strong epoxy.

I hit all 6. I think the main requirements however are points 3 and 6 with the final point, exposed to British fantasy gaming as a Eighth . All other points would therefore be purely incidental to the three, most people exposed two 3rd or earlier would naturally be that age, probably be white and probably be married and have kids.
