Classic Skaven miniatures return via Made to Order

Damn, I was hoping the Skaven showing was going to be some of the older classics. One or two of the models (older Verminlord, Snitch & Skrolk) in this set I have fond memories of playing against, but alas that's one made-to-order that's not piqued my interest and I've had to be good simply down to pricing.
 
yikes.. the only one there which is any interest is Packmaster Skweel Gnawtooth but even then, it's not much. (Skweel taken from the original metal I guess. Named often got reused ^_^)

The idea of different 'types' of Vermin Lord really don't appeal to me.. Do you get different types of Great Unclean ones or Blood Thristers?
 
ugh.. I know there were classically different weapons which don't make too much difference (I'm still working on my custom Blood thister.. I had to buy two to get the 'HQ' complete set, and customised a sword ^_^; but I got a third into painting and kinda gave up and need to start again.

I do have two Vermin lords (originals) which.. both are missing the tails (easy to replace) one is missing the pointing arm (again, fairly easy to replace) and I'm trying to do something different with atleast one of them but.. it's tricky.. can't do too much with the arm poses though I'm trying to add fur. While the second gen Rat Ogres aren't terrible, the problem with the Perry sculpts for them and the Vermin Lord was the complete LACK of much fur.. too human that way.
Also one problem with the classic vermin lord was something I never noticed for YEARS (even though I have a vermin lord from childhood)... his face is half furred rat, and half decayed skully. yet that doesn't follow for the rest of the body.. really think it would look fantastic like that but that's a heavy custom job (which may be happening at some point.. as is on my list.. cue Philip Madoc)
 
I was thinking of the metal ogres but still ^_^; after wards the rat orges became cyborgs and they are awful.

that said.. I think the worse acceptable plastic skaven are the AHQ ones.. the prototype head is SOO much better... but if you see that proto, it makes the plastics look better cause you can see what they are going for.. mm.. maybe they should go in my 'Really Annoying Sculpts' post.. but I think the AHQ skaven are more.. disappointing sculpts then really annoying.
 
Not a Skaven collector, but I appreciate some of those sculpts.
Lord Skrolk is a classic and Queek Headtaker & Deathmaster Snikch are really impressive dynamic designs.
 
The only original 'classic' character I'm missing is Ikit Claw... I got his backpack though ¬_¬ just the prices I see for him is stupid. I repainted my Queek and Skrolk, my Snikch was stripped, started to paint, hated, stripped, waiting.
