Chaos Squat Warband

Yeah the long thin RT lasgun, they just don't cast too well in putty/GS. As for the Exo arms for some strange reason they always end up on auction without 1 arm or neither more often then not. I'm in need of 2 Chaos Exo arms and 3 Loyal Squats arms.

Have you tried casting the Squat Bikes/trikes? I wonder how'd they would turn out.

Had a spare 30mins so I made a start on my Chaos Squat Warlord and Hearthguard:

Greenstuffing/putty work is yet to be done as is the tidy up of flash ect.

So my painted Squats have just been dumped in paint stripper (Dettol) as I wasn't happy with them. Too dark and no enough detail, time to work out a better colour scheme.

I like the Warlord and Hguard. One thing bugs me a little - and this is merely a taste thing, the chainswords seem on the long side to me given the pint sized nature of them. Squat chainswords were always on the short side. I would either try to carefully shorten the length a good bit by chopping a section out (much like penis reduction surgery) OR I would add on to the handle a tiny bit so that it looks like a 2 hander (much like penis enlargement surgery). I should point out at this stage that there is nothing wrong with the length of the Warlords penis...erm sword.

I'd like to claim I meant to have oversized weapons, truth is it was a happy accident. With my 40k/Sci Fi I never go for realism so oversized weapons isn't really a problem and I've already done all the GS work which was a pure bastard lol

Just got a squat lot and the exo armoured one comes out with... well, just one arm like Chico said... count me in if you're launching an exo armour arm production...
All the squats have no arms too so I'm taking any advice here...

So I finally started the repaint of my Chaos Squats, these are my first 4 to test the theme. Far from perfect but I feel the grim/dirty look suits them.

Well though They're painted to the same standard, I have to say I tend to prefer them the way you painted them before. This very bright red with black and the dark skin tone worked really fine for me but this is a matter of taste so if you're happy the way they are now then it's all good. Now They look a tad too "imperial" to me. I don't sense any evil.
Paintjob's a good 'un anyway.
