You should have another one to repair and piant soon... (I haven't forgotten :? )

He looks absolutley gorgeous. I like my Nurgle to be away from bright greens and extreme gore and you did just fine with him. Those models really look the business when put in the talented hands of painters of superior level as yourself.
Now I'm just going to shame myself a bit more with my all black paintshceme...

Thanks guys!!
Backpack is from the actual plague marines champion.

And Asslessman , I really love your black scheme , and belive it or not , I can't achive it :( I've tried , no success , too black or too white , DAMN!!

I don't recognise the back pack it looks modern rather than an original.

Anyway really nice subtle pj, a nod to the old school but very modern transitions also. Who wouldn't want a unit of these creeps painted up like this.

I got the recipe form the golden demon winning guys at my local hobby shop :

- Black prime
- zenithal spray with AP grey
- pick up all edges with a clearer grey
- drown everything in a 1/3 chaos black + 1/3 matt medium + 1/3 water mix and you're good, just pick up some edges and points here and there just to liven up a bit and you're good.

I have that backpack and was wondering wether or not use it with some old renegades and you just convinced me it works well !

So , I got a nurgle tube head guy in the mail yesterday from Asslessman ;) .
The poor guy had a bad life... I mean , he lost his head , right shoulder, etc. I decided to bring his glory back and even more , turn him into my nurgle marine champion!
So here you can see his extreme makover!

Man, that is a fantastic repair/conversion you've done on the plague marine!

Asslessman, you ought to be ashamed of yourself.......hacking up a fine mini like that :o

We'll done that man! A fantastic piece of conversion work. This gives me an idea to run a thread on rescuing 'broken/ damaged/ unloved figures and producing something even more amazing or just simple repair jobs with hints and tips for basic repairs etc. sorry I'm blethering. Back to the figure. He is a stunner, really gorgeous. Can't wAit to see him painted.

I'm a big fan of this sort of thing, and have a couple of examples to share if you make that thread :) Nothing is ever wasted!

Sublime !

I could/should have done that to repair that youth mistake (Asslessboy didn't think these would go OOP soemday back then...) but I have to say I am very glad to have left this one leave for your talented hands ! The new bits added are just brilliant and you get the same creepy/crazy feeling from him.
Can't wait to see the guy with some paint !

@Whiskey Priest : Yes, a thread with repaired models would be ace, it could be the start of "Swanhammer", I have loads to share in that kind...
