CC's BOYL PLOG: 3rd ed. Bretonnians and friends

I'm intending to go head-to-head with Warlord Paul on the Saturday, hopefully with a 3000pts (ish) force. Here's what I have so far:

A largely 3rd ed. Bretonnian force with allies in the form of ogres (pictured) and giants (not yet added). The image above also contains some of the old Citadel Militia as levies.

I've still to add cavalry, archers, hopefully a war altar and some war machines. Yes, I have a lot to do

I've always fancied doing a force like this in a predominantly red/yellow(gold) colour scheme. My current addiction to a certain book and TV series is reinforcing that: hear me roar

With about 6 weeks to go I need to get cracking...updates as and when

Nah - although I'm using Bret figures I dont really see this as a Bret force, just your average generic fantasy kingdom

I may well take you up on that Paul, at least for part of a force if I dont get as many painted as I hope. What have you got?

34 Archers
10 Crossbows
16 Men-at-arms (Great swords)
36 Halberds/Spears
2 canon with three crew each
2 wizard types on foot

I leave you to ruminate upon your choices.

That army looks neat. Very coherent, and good choice of colors. I´d have used more shading, some of the color areal look a bit flat, but I presume it´s a matter of personal preference.
