C27 Gigantic Spider was an absolute pain!

Finally happy with the legs, far harder than I had imagined. Due to be my goblin shamans pet, Boris the spider.
I ended up removing all the mid sections from the paired legs and added a green stuff lower body to pin the legs into.

reminds me too much of a giant spider (a much newer sculpt) I've got.. half done.. the legs were a pain but the main problem is I need to do some customising which I'm not sure how to do.. but maybe there is a thing with giant spiders being a pain ^_^

That looks good, might try that scheme when I eventually get onto my more modest Goblin spiders!

Haaa, coincidence! I did a goblin spider and used that color scheme as well - I can recommend it!

What I couldn't do is assemble or paint that big C27 spider. That thing gives me the willies. It looks waaaaay too much like a real spider and my inner caveman doesn't want to pick it up and paint it, he wants to smash it with a rock and scream like a little girl.

Nothing wrong with that, I did the same thing when I looked after my friends tarantula and it got out.
