I shall be pottering over to Beachhead in Bournemouth on Saturday I think for a bit of a mooch (the Titans are always good to look at) about, catch up with a few friends and to say hello to Nickinsalak who I gather will be battling over a snow strewn table. If you're likely to be there and want to say hello give me a shout and we'll try to coordinate!

Well it was a good show. Met @Nickinsalak who was happily battling over the snow crusted terrain against the Russians (epic looking armies on both sides), that was very pleasant to put a face to the name. I expect we'll cross paths again at the Enjoyment Oldhammer day in March. Then my old Space Wolves T-Shirt drew the eye of a chap who was getting into some older Warhammery bits, so we chatted for a bit and later teamed up to play a game of Mordheim being run by some friends of mine.

The Titan Walk is always impressive, so much resin! Of course no classic Armorcast Titans, but I'd not say no to owning some of the current Forge World ones.

Good selection of demo and participation games. Mostly historical from the look of it. I think they setup the Star Wars cos-play bit better this year, made it more like a street with stuff either side so it was a lot more interesting to wander past. Slightly more varied selection of retailers this year I thought which was nice, certainly more caught my eye. Although I didn't find a mini for the Wastelands Crew. There were some good contenders at Crooked Dice, but I decided not in the end. I might have picked up a bit of Green Stuff for the freezer! Managed to resist buying various interesting looking games that I won't ever actually play so at least my wallet wasn't too light when I left. Painting challenge thing looked interesting, Duncan Rhodes was there busy peering at models. The tournaments were in full swing in the other hall, but unless you're playing it just looks like mildly organised chaos.
