Australian Realms Magazine?

Christian has managed to locate some of the later magazines - so we may catch a glimpse of something soon :) but the early ones are proving elusive...

Hi, yes! I've got quite a few of the later issues on the way, presumably this week.

The next question is - what do we do with them?

I managed to find one bloke with issues 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 24, 25 and 28.

I'll keep an eye out for the rest.

Put them in card backed polybags and seal them up! Covet them! Hoard them! Pretty things!

I did touch base with Colin Taber (I haven't hassled him since) - my plan was to ask permission to create a PDF compilation of the Warhammer bits and release it on the interwebs for free, with a modern IP disclaimer stuck on the back.

Sounds like a good plan. I've managed to get in touch with a vendor who has (hopefully) most of the rest as back issues...

A 3kg box arrived 3 mins before I had to go to work... what wonders could it contain? ;) All shall be revealed tonight once i figure out how to use a scanner!

Just a gentle reminder that copyright law exists in Australia, and most of the original authors and artists are still alive. Please seek permission from the authors before "sharing" other peoples work. From my brief chat with Colin, for example, I think he'd be happy to have his stuff distributed in a not-for-profit way, but others might not.

Also, consider that Steve Jackson games sell digital versions of Space Gamer Magazine for around $3 each, and that goes back to 1980, there may be potential revenue (albeit very small, I'd imagine) from digital editions.

Crooks - Really excited to find out what goodies you've got! Just photo piles of stuff. Photos! Stuff! Piles! Waaaargh!!
