Are squats actually rare?

I paid about 12 pound a few years ago for a mint arm sprue (out of desperation)...

Paying an arm and a leg for a couple of arms sounds like a good deal to me.

Out of interest, does anyone know, did the squat arms get made in metal when they finally ran out of sprues, the same as the IG ones did?

I was hoping that you knew that GW was still making them in their archive service, if I were looking for recast I would made them by myself having everything at home to do this (original miniatures, vulcanizer and spincaster...)

The squat pirates are rare. I've been trolling on EBay and asking here in the market place for the better part of a year, and I don't have a complete set. (PS WHO WANTS TO SELL ME SOME PIRATES?).

Mostly everything else seems not terribly rare but nonetheless much of it commands a substantial price because there's substantial interest. For example, lots of folks are after the special weapons squats, exoarmor squats, etc.

Some folks noted that the Iron Claw squats are pricier. That's not been what I've noticed. But - I'm in the US so perhaps there's a regional variation in 'what squats are desirable'.

I bought most of my Iron Claw squats from monster mouth games in the US for about $5 US each-his prices have gone up these days I see though.

I also got my first and only Pirate for 4.99 pound last week

That is one awesome collection of Squats!!!

For 2014 I plan to finish my collection. I am already in the process of making a list of what I have and what I need.

I don't plan to go much to Ebay for this. So I will probably post a thread and see if anyone can trade me Squats for Squats.

Maybe not the rarest models, but deffinately popular enough to have a decent value almost constantly. I have been collecting Squats for 10 years and I haven't really seen the prices rise or fall much in that period.
