Anybody going to Colours?

While I'm busy on Sunday morning, I would be able to go if the Train fare was a bit less then it is. Can't fully justify it right now for what it is sadly.

Hope things going well and it's a good event for all ^_^

Well, that was a surprise, Colours wasn't packed and there wasn't a three deep queue for the bring and buy, quite comfortable day to be honest, but I didn't get there until about 13:00pm so there may have been an early rush! I took a steady walk around the venue across three floors taking in all the sights, perused the B&B (twice) didn't spot anything of interest, but I did spot a few bits and pieces on Pirate Rich Paints stall, always worth a look at painting services, as they may have something old they've splashed a little colour over in this case a few early Citadel giants, trolls and other eye candy including a unit of Gnomes. Will be taking a look at their web site later.
Spoke the Geoff, who appeared to be doing well, even picked up a few pieces myself, paints from Great escape Games and a model windmill from Beowulf Painting Services, who were doing a deal on Fungi! I made my way home after passing the time of day with old friends discussing rule sets, miniatures and respective families.

Sounds like a nice day out. Will be interested to see the windmill, always love a good windmill model.
Nice barrows in that first photo. Just recently passed the Barrow Wights in LOTR so barrows are in my mind again.

Just put the windmill together 'dry' really happy to see how it looks, also how comprehensive they've provide all the parts for it to work via a Lego power block, great.
