Anthony Ackland Demon concept sculpted!

Hello Chaos followers!
The first of our demonic creatures it's alive! ...almost....
This creature is twisted and aberrant , having his body ending in two heads at each top , but also a
third magic user head over one of them! Its arms are also rotated back and coming from its back? behind the legs.
I hope you like it!

Its another sculpture for our Pantheon of Chaos project, follow us and see more pics and concepts

Holy Crap!!! I was just thinking about doing this same thing. I mean literally. I was just returning from lunch and think of a new project to start while i was driving back to work. (not doing the project as I drove back) I was toying with the idea of going through the old Chaos books an picking out drawing to sculpt. Wow! So cool you've gone and done this, but now I'm a little bit jealous that I didn't do it first  .

Sorry, I don't want to be out to prove you wrong or anything, because I'm not, but it's on page 97 Lost and the Damned. Anyways, I've now had a chance to go through the other sculpts in your line and I am amazed at the quality of your sculpts. The only thing I thought that seemed off to me was that I always saw the Nurgle Champion Festus from LatD (page 78) with the Monolith was more of a Minotaur Champion. Or at leased of that scale. I know everybody has an opinion. Are you planning on selling these sculpts? What kind of putty are you using when you do these?

No problem pal I was just joking ;)
I really don't remember this demon appeared there I thought it was an unused concept.
Anyway , I'm using Super Sculpey and yes we are making huge project with lots of chaos related miniatures.
I used the illustration you mention a base to create a champion, it has some minor differences anyway to not step into IP infringement.
And while not a huge monster he's very tall almos like some of the old citadel minotaurs minis.

Bit of a weird one, what's the plan? The arms and legs both look quite different to the original (more bulky, less claw-like) Maybe resculpt the head/body a bit like?

No no , its inspired on Tony illustration , not a "copy paste" basically because its GW copyrighted image too.
Also I preffer more usefull prensile hands for it than plain claws , it need something to cath its victims and put in its mouth

Yeah there is a blurred line between being inspired by something and it being a derivative work.

Heh, the reason I put the Blanche monstosity there is with the big head giant hands you'd have a kind of giant Blue / Pink Horror thing going on :)

Oh that's nice . . . in an "I will gut you, remove your genitals and eyeballs, string them on your intestines, and present you with the results as a lovely necklace," kind of way. He is a beautiful nightmare straight out of Pan's Labyrinth or The Dark Crystal. (Even if he is, in fact, from The Lost and the Damned.)
