Amazona Gothique inspired mini by Kev White / Hasslefree

Oh, I knew some LARPs in collage. sadly never really talked to them much on the subject (but since I was able to convince both the 'home group master' or whatever they are called, and some people in the class, we spent the weird 'free session' each Friday playing Heroquest... Oh and one lesson cause since it was a computer course, the one lesson was basically spent the year creating a product. Start doing the design brief, then the coding/making, then end with a demo presentation. One of the guys was doing a RPG game. the stuff didn't need to be FINISHED just demo stage. We convinced the teacher who knew what we were doing and that it did KINDA work (and would explain it if anyone checked on the class to make sure they were working) that it was research for his game. Kinda miss them days..

So people should e-mail warblade saying 'Why don't you put XXX back into circulation?' ^_^
Also.. damn you.. I haven't looked at there stuff in a while cause it's not one of the main places I go to, even though they do some good stuff... and now I just placed an order.. Killer rabbit and Goblin Queen Dia ¬_¬; (the 'clearly not holy grail' dwarfs are nice but... not now.. but I liked that rabbit and liked John Pickford Goblin Queen.

I see that's also where some other models you did ended up.

Oh, he did actually send me a few a while back as some people requested. I looked yesterday and still have a couple of copies if you want one?

BTW.... Never, NEVER refer to Steampunk as LARP. The two are poles apart. That's like saying hipster and stripogram are the same thing.

Yes please, I will take a copy of her if you have enough.

As regards my LARP comment, it was not meant in a derogatory sense. Do the participants at conventions like Whitby and The Asylum not structure the events around a narrative or competitive game event? , Until I left the UK I spent many years in the ECW society and I have done LARP for Fantasy and Horror (Masquerade) many times. I know how seriously people in the scene take it, I still bear scars from some of the LARP battles, but strangely not from the ECWS.
Also sorry to hear of the loss of your friends from the Steampunk scene.

I am more than a bit surprised/concerned anyone would confuse hipster with a stripperogram 🤔😆😚

No
There are some events of a competetive nature- Tea Duelling, Croquet, Barjitsu etc, but for the most part steampunk is about artistry, style and invention. You could say (I wouldn't) it was cosplay, but not LARP.

Sure. Send me a PM and we'll sort it out.

That is brilliant, exactly the sort of thing I imagined. Flamingo looks fine, I think you have too much weight on your leading leg, pulling your balance a bit to the on side. A few hours in the nets should sort that out.

In 1986, John Blanche created Amazonia Gothique which appeared on the cover of White Dwar #079. Citadel brought it to life with the legendary Chaos Amazon LE15 (october 1986). Forty years later, the idea is still as strong and relevant as ever!

Originally, I simply wanted to create special character rules for Warhammer: TOW. But upon discovering all the variations, reinterpretations, and tributes created since then, I felt it would be a shame to limit myself to just one miniature. That’s how the idea for the Untamed Gothic Amazonia was born: a unit that brings all these incarnations together around Kinky Chaosette, and, why not, inspires new ones!

Over the past few days, this little project has been expanded to include a backstory, rules, and a layout that pays homage to the publications of that era. Well, I still have a little work left to do, but I'm making progress.

40 years later, she still hasn’t bowed down. Still untamed, still rebellious!
