Albion lore pre Dark Shadows?

honestly after seeing the bretonnia project's attempts to recreate the original version of that region I honestly would be rather interested if we pulled efforts and did it for other nations we could have a oldhammer version of tameriel rebuilt*, I'd love to see a oldhammer cathay.

*a expansive modding project for the game morrowind from the elder scrolls series, that expands the map to inculde background only areas in the style that era's version of the lore for the setting.

could be because ind is the "off map" region with the smallest amount of infomation, I think even Khuresh and its snakemen have more lore then them as ind didn't get a full mention until end times and only had one confirmed character to my knowledge, Albion especially the oldhammer incarnation has a bigger body of work to draw from, so would be simpler to get going

4e of the roleplay game resently did some stuff for it... but it's mind blowingly stupid and takes achivements away from other factions like the skaven and dwarfs
mm? takes away from the Skaven? as in, gets rid of the stupid 'Cyborg' stuff and how in 5ed onwards, they got more tech then the Dwarfs? why they ruined the Skaven like that I don't know ¬_¬ 4ed was fine with the limited inbreeding and basic tech projects, but they got way too stupid and overblown with them.. making them sooo generic

Care to elaborate?
They retconned several of the Skaven's iconic warmachines and tech was really stolen from Ind... dispite it being based on works like Ramayana and the Mahabharata which are set in the late bronze age-iron age and seemed to hyper religious to the point beastmen could be excepted into there soecity as a people favoured by the gods. It's a major problem they have at the momement reguarding the non-old world human factions where they are too scared to mine the real history/culture/mythology of them (dispite that being half the draw) and instead just hand the achivements of other factions to them erroneously, for example they also retconned most of the dwarfs and sky-titans (proto-giants) inventions as being from Cathay who instead of being in the boxer wars throwing mercs at each other are now ruled by the CCP approved benovlent dragon family who never screw up and are better then eveyone at everything who should just bow before them (that's not a joke its how they write them with total sincerity) all the while having totally retconned out Nippon and retconned and acredited there influrence on the setting to Cathay. While Nippon's had all its stuff shanghaied by Cathay in a lazy fashion (many of cathay's army lists even still use japanese derived terms), they have also robbed Araby of all its substance handing there major events to the tomb kings and airbrushing out any negative (or really posative ones come to think of it) aspects of there culture and removed Baron Odo d'Outremer & Suliman le Saracen which is a dam shame as I was really wanting to see a gotreks & felix/dunk & egg style old world novel about them.

Skaven only have a couple of bits of tech and Warmachines.. Warp Fire Thrower, which isn't too fancy but does use warp fire (Flame cannons are more powerful and more common for other races), Jezzials, which are basically 2 man rifles, so not as powerful as the Empire ones, The Doom wheel which is a very basic machine mixing warpstone power with Rats added to power it. The Screaming Bell is technically a Warmachine but again, as Skaven tec is VERY basic, it's just a cart with a Bell which is rung with a Warpstone ringer.

Though I believe 5 and 6 started to add tons of hyper advanced tech like the stupid cyborgs and motorbikes and stuff.. ugh.. horrible rubbish.
