I'm sure citizens of the New world would moan at the Old World for not having there ales at ice cold temperatures and with added water to make it flow down the throat without tasting it.. ^_^

^Do you mean the frogs, the elves, or the demons? And which one am I?

For what it's worth I'm fine with my malt beverage in any number of formats and temperatures and what works best very much depends on the weather and the context. Cellar temperature ale or beer would be mighty unpleasant from a cellar at thirty odd degrees after working outside in forty odd degrees all day. There is a place for an ice cold light lager. Just not Yorkshire. There is a place for good bitters pumped straight out of the cask in the room behind the bar. Just not Saigon. All else is negotiable.

I'm gonna go with Dark Elves of Naggaroth, the Land of Chill ^_^

personally.. I rarely drink any alcohol, and when I do it's mostly just wine or cider

In the Known World, fantasy races seem to be less good amateurs than you...

I think of the Night Goblins with the Fungus Beer which at least makes you immune to psychology, faster and sometimes frenetic
But this beer must surely be fresh in their caves...

Funny note from Warhammer: The Old World, Fungus beer is now a Fungus wine
