A Wave Green Approached, Though It Was Only 2ft High

Along with the other collection of models that I'd been painting up for old work, it helped me rediscover the 40+ metal Snotlings that I had stored up. Some are a mix of originals and some are just odd spares from things like the later Doom Diver. So I went on with sticking them on original plastic 40mm bases that were also in the stash. Figuring they would have little battle field time, I decided a well practiced slapchop paint job would be just the ticket. Presto, 4 bases of Snotlings are completed.

I've done the same with most of my Goblins over the years, usually mix a few different colours in make things different. Even with my Night Goblins and usual rank and file. I also did it with my Blood Bowl teams, think of them as Lava, Forest, Sea, Desert and Night Globins, Snotlings and such. So red, green, blue, yellow and pale green.
