A Return to Painting

The two miniatures I have finished after starting painting again, first a Grenadier ninja from 1984; I can't remember where or when I got this, but it mast have been closer to 1990:

next a 1994 mounted death knight from Ral Partha (still working on painting his buddy that came in the blister with him) that I probably did purchase around 1994:

Nice paint jobs!
Thank you! I feel that my eyes struggle more and my hands shake more now, but I have more patience and a bit of a different approach to that of my youth (and a wet palette!) so all up am roughly picking up where I left off. I'm very pleased with them, and have duly ordered some more paints!

Ditto, I now strategically scatter reading glasses around the house. Couldn't paint without them these days. My chair has good arm rests so I find I might support my left elbow on one holding the mini (I tend to have my models in various hand clamps I've made) and my right elbow will often rest by my hip and that seems to support fairly well for minimal shakes!
