Best just to go with it. The right hand & mace would make adding something awkward. I guess you could experiment by trying some form of cloth or leather to the outside of the legs just to bulk out the lower half without obscuring existing detail.

Yeah, I've thought about things like that, maybe even some sort of cloak hanging down at the back, and a sort of loin cloth type thingy, but may leave it at this point. It might be more the angle of the photos as well, it doesn't look so very top heavy seen from front on.

Made some good progress: undercoated in black, base coated, and given a preliminary couple of ink washes.

Also thought I may as well show a couple of WIP friends for him to join his squad. The animal skull headed chap is inspired by the figure in Slaves To Darkness of course (though that one was a Slaanesh renegade).
