A game of Rogue Trader using 15mm figures

Alternative armies do a lot of nice figures, which I have been tempted by, but GZG has the aesthetic look that I like in 15mm. I am not sure why.
They’re another company with 40 odd years of heritage and I think largely the work of the company owner so he’s been able to grow his ranges and designs over a very long period of time. I think the good thing about them is that they are very well sculpted, very clean and easy to paint (even by modern standards) and also have that lovely old school sci fi aesthetic. I like the spaceships they do as well, brilliant little models (managed to hold off buying any though).

I have one fleet, that I bought in the 1990s, I really should get a second one to have two competing forces.

By this I assume you mean the Full Thrust line? (I can't find any on Alternative Armies' site.) The game is probably my all time favorite miniatures game ever, if I'm being honest, though I tend to use other companies models to play it. (Mostly Citadel and QT.) That said, I'm always looking for a new line of spaceships, so if AA makes one, I'd be happy to be proven wrong.

Sorry the above refers to Ground Zero Games not Alternative Armies. They obviously still do the excitingly named Full Thrust.

^I need to sack my editor. It was supposed to say I couldn't find any spaceships on Alternative Armies, but in the process of editing for clarity, or grammar, or some godforsaken excuse for style or some such my editor deleted a large part of the sentence, apparently including the name of the site in question.
