40K Emperor's Children Renegades

I have some spare Slaanesh Renegades of old. I thought it was time to reorganize them and make them playable, not just random minis. So the first thing to do was expand the army (yes, always expand! ;D). I'm afraid the first one is not RT, but I'll ask for your indulgence. I have not been able to paint this noise marine in the psychodelic 80's colours. I've tried everything and I just can't. So I've painted him in he same colours than the other minis I have. Ladies and Gentlemen... Roy & the Daemonettes!

Oh, the guy is in need of someone for the chorus, right?

While I paint the rest and make up the squads, I'll leave you with the man not ashamed to ride a blue mount:

Excellent stuff so far! I particularly like the effect you got on the Daemonettes claws although how the sculptors thought that they were supposed to be alluring is anyones guess!

That Noise Marine was a real favorite when it was released. Nice to see it again. I painted a version of it back in the 90s

I'm afraid I'm quite lost in the work err... Warp. But I'm trying hard to keep on painting. I had painted several of these some time ago, so I just had to paint some new additions in the same palette and reorganized them. Let's see the first squad:

The second squad is leaded by a guy you already saw in other colours:

I found I had this guy, so he was clearly meant to be the leader:

Finally, the Noise Marines. Beacuse any Slaaneshi Army needs one band!

Very nice, I love the banners and the mix of periods for the miniatures, I can see how you would not be satisfied with the noise marine unit if you were going for all RT but mixes look good too.

I look forward to a battle report, which edition do you think you would use? 2nd?

I'm beginning to run out of superlatives on this forum, so maybe i will have to start making some up (or look at a really old dictionary for some oldschool praise). really liking the 'I fully intend to do something vulgar and painful to your nether regions' vibe from these models. But yes i'm with spacecowsmith, there is absolutely nothing right with letting those daemonettes anywhere near me bits, crustacean lover or no!

Yep, they look really silly. I'll convert them with undead horses and mechanical parts to help but given the prie of Chaos Steeds...OUCH

I said it n the blog SUber but you managed someting I never did which is to tie nicely all the different styles of models with this army. Good job. I love those banners by the way ! You can never be wrong with a big back banner

I totally forgot I also have a FW Dreadnought I will post it asap. I tried to find the balance between a gaudy appearance and warrior lookings. Not easy to find inner peace when painting these guys

My latest battles are 2nd Ed, I find it the easier way to play decent skirmishes, but I'm thinking of having some decent RT game sometime...
