3000pt WFB3 Armies from White Dwarf

Hi All,

Thinking of a new project having completed my 3000pt undead army, whilst I was finishing another Reiks Kanone for my Empire army (used stuff from 6 edition to flesh out most of the units as I already had it) I thought of a totally different army to paint. Now I know of the 3000pt example armies in the Warhammer Armies book and the articles they did in White Dwarf for the Undead and Andy's Skaven. Can anybody point me in the direction of other army lists for 3000pts for WFB3 they may know of? I like to base my armies on these old lists because these are the armies I drooled over as a snotling. Any idea on issues of White Dwarf with lists would be great.

Cheers mate, had a look at your blog, love it and that other site you said for the skaven army no words can describe but stunning. Some great ideas to base an army off.

You could probably check GoblinLees' blog since he has already completed most of the races of 3rd ed published in either WH armies and WD.
 
I'll do that thanks asslessman, been looking at black tree designs for some figures, have some ww2 of theirs what are their fantasy ranges like?
 
And for completeness there's a wood elf and orc and goblin army in the battle report in WD120. I wouldn't want to guess how long I spent pouring over those three battle reports as a kid. Although with hindsight tournament cheese was alive and well in 3rd edition :grin:.
