2nd Edition Ultramarines progress

Much as I might have lost my heart to earlier marines, my god do these feel wonderfully nostalgic. It really was a boom time for the game. These look great, the blue/yellow is a great look and the red bolters scream 2nd :) I've a few of this era to add to my marines at some point.

Think you've done a grand job on this lot, I was going to say I think I'd still be tempted to drill out the launcher barrel, but I see you've blacked it in which works.

Still working on the Ultras. But as always I can't not get sidetracked. So I have started a Imperial Agents Arbites 2nd ed force too.

Arbites as in Arbitors? I personally would have just got some of the original Judge Dredd retools that Foundary got into production.
 
Arbites from the Imperial Agents list in the black Army book for 2nd edition. I don't like crossing the streams too much. Even though you can tell the old design is heavily influenced by JD
 
okay, while I play (or played) 2nd, I didn't really go into that side ^_^ Just my Space Wolves with some Orks (though I have some eldar now)..
