Black Tree Miniatures

Well that sounds promising. Once again highlights communication is key. I think we'd all rather given up simply because of lack of any coms, just one "sorry serious health issues, we're taking it super slow" and maybe temporarily closing the store would have been enough to allay a lot of fear (and probably a lot of chargebacks)

Yeah, there are people's orders going back at least a year that are still outstanding, so it's going to be 'interesting' to see if they can recover from this. With all the chargebacks they'll have undoubtedly had, they may have trouble with cashflow and payment processing etc as well. It's the lack of communication that's the worst part, tbh.

Tbh I wish they'd just sell up to someone competent, there are a few companies out there who'd happily take the ranges on. I know I would if I had the cash.

Agree with all of that. :)
My order was 13 months ago. Wanted the minis so much I never clawed back the money, in what I though had become a vain hope.

Hopefully the change of management will address the main cause of all the woes of the past many years. If they really can sort things out they stock plenty of other figures I'm very interested in.

Slightly concerned by the statement "For a forecast as to when your order will be received please review our updated FAQ." Since it doesn't link to said FAQ, and I'll be darned if I can find one anywhere on their sites!

@ManicMan - If you're really the trigger of all (or some) of this, having rattled the cage of the site owners, I'm among many much indebted. Cheers!

with some of the things I've done.. It would be nice to think I am but.. don't like to assume

well.. quick reply, does sound like new manager Sam is really trying to get things in order. While there is of course gonna be a bit of 'crossed fingers' right now, it does appear some good things going on and alot of stuff has been kinda taken away from John to make it easier, though it's a staff of three right now (not that that is the smallest number in the world but still).

So.. things looking good, might be signs of people getting, or atleast hearing about order updates in the next few months too. currently a new sale to try and show they are back.

I found the FAQ, viewing on a tablet it had scrolled off the right-hand side of the screen.

More importantly, I got a very nice same day reply from Samantha yesterday, it stated "As everything is being made in house we’ve given a prediction of 60 days for all back orders to be fulfilled in full." My own order has been prioritised, so should be shipped in a week.

i got my money back from my bank a month ago, not a chargeback, i think it was small amount and they just gave it ot me.

I do hope they get it straightend out, mini makers, especially classic metal ones, going bust /OOB, is rather depressing

Promising signs, let’s hope the new team can turn around the damage this period has done to the company’s reputation…
