Gnomevember - what’s on your painting desk for next month?

But this dude really is calling me..

He's from the fabulous Oldschool Miniatures. I've got a few of his friends too. In the mythical "one day" I have an idea for an impenetrable woodland terrain piece for fantasy battles centered around a huge tree inhabited by gnomes. Your gnome here will be perfect for guarding the tunnel through the surrounding thorn hedge. I'll need to get more gnome villagers too.

(Top tip - don't scrub paint and Dettol off a giant at your work desk. Much keyboard cleaning to do!)

are dwarves still allowed, or have they now been relegated to februhairy?
all my gnomes have been painted for a while now.
Well... Oakbound Dwarfs are Gnomes so... figure that one out.. Aren't Gnomes techinally a form of Dwarf though? well, in fantasy.. If I remember my mythology right, weren't Gnomes 'made' as metal working spirits/Dæmons who did alot of mining and playful jokesters? which is basically what Dwarfs in mythology are.

I've always loved the Svirfneblin concept (coolest name ever) but the only models I've liked enough are Halflings and Goblins. That's good because if a nice enough gnome miniature line exists I'll be broke in matter of minutes. Let's hope no one posts cool gnomes in this thread...
