First 2nd edition ’Eavy Metal attempt

Hi everyone, first time poster not so long time reader!

I wanted to share my attempt at recreating the classic 90s White Dwarf Blood Angles Space Marines.

So far im calling the red done, prepared the black, metal and yellow. Just waiting for some extra colors to arrive so I can finish them as well.

This style definitely take a long time to paint and lots of concentration. But I feel like it will all be worth it ones I have a little squad done or even just a single one of them.

Nice work. Looks like the Mike McVey scheme from '93.

Blood Angels had a bunch of guides to choose from.

Hard to go wrong with a nicely painted mini! That Blood Angel is coming along very nicely. Will you be going for the classic 2nd edition goblin green base or might you be tempted by the lure of the more exotic range of older styles on offer?!

😂 Im afraid that im nostalgically obligated to stick with classic Goblin Green with these minis and colour scheme
