Card stock Buildings?

Okay, It's well known about all the fantasy buildings Citadel/GW released in the scenarios and townscape and some in WD (though it mostly gave patterns). for 40K, they released a few box sets with the Imperial Bunker and.. whatever that Ork one was, which were just card stock but with a small bit of plastic (mostly the Necromunda bits cause.. again, early-ish plastics meant they paid alot of money for them molds so wanted to get their money's worth, and it wasn't a co-owned venter so they could re-use the assets).

Thinking about the Card releases like that for 40K (and the stupid prices they go for now) made me think.. hang on.. short of the campagins and townscape.. did they release any card FANTASY buildings on their own like they did for 40K? I don't remember any... mostly they were just 40K releases, or plastic buildings for fantasy (a bit later)..

anyone think of any? maybe Mordheim released some card buildings (re-using the plastic connectors) as a 'building in a box' thing? not sure. Mordheim is a bit past my time so never played it.

Can't think of any. Earliest non-scenario-pack buildings were the full plastic for 6th ed I think. Unless you count mighty fortress of course.

The 6th edition box set had a plastic/card building, but I don't recall any others except for the Mordheim bits. There might have been some however given the sprues existed. You can see it on the back of the box (attached).

haven't seen that one as I didn't bother with 6th.

I know there was.. annoy, a mordheim 'Blood on the Streets' which was card with plastic connectors. (it's annoying cause.. has ANYONE seen the card stock sheets from Blood on the Streets? Sure, they pretty much re-used all of them in townscape but still...) also... I'll add Lichmaster to that 'never seen' card sheets for... I don't have any idea if the mine carts were models or tokens...

anyway, it does appear a bit weird that they were more open to card stock buildings in 40K then fantasy? despite fantasy having a long history of card stock buildings.

I have that very building, passed to me by a fella who used to collect back in mid 90's, he and his brother had alot of stuff but never 'gamed' with it, just modelled. Had wondered if it was a GW product, cheers @Eric! It was made up already and given to me and my son in an old suitcase(!) with other resin terrain bits. The original packaging long gone. Roof tile sheets are very very flimsy on the model. Has metal/alum gauze for windows. If you need photos...?

Struggling to see the publication date on the back photo, but doesn’t appear to be in any of the late 90’s catalogues? Probably referenced in an issue of WD?

The auction says 1996, and I'd say the pixels look like either: 5, 6 or 8 so 1996 seems plausible.

☺️ Will oblige...Just dug it out of the garage. Apologies for shite lighting. Fairly solid for +30years (kept dry), I've had it for 4years. Roof tiles are paper card thin, bent, & Chimney stack 'peeling'. Glues Marks on walls from plastic shields and cart wheel fallen off! [Arsinil the dragon lord & 'Deathfang' for scale]...
