Lovely work as usual! Those posters are ace!
little WW2 pin-ups and the like
Gil Elvgren
Let me guess, you collected the (revealing) BigD peanut hangers from bars/pubs? 🧐I am quite partial to pin ups of that era, less obvious than say Samantha Fox, Linda Lusardi etc
They seemed to spring out of the natural environment. David Attenborough missed a trick. One of the school monitors used to let us look at page three when she'd finished reading the newspaper during the lunch period.Ha Ha, nah, like all kids of my age I went to the more rural areas, parks, nature reserves, train tracks and looked for special interest magazines left in bushes.

The posters give the place a real lived-in feel.
There was always a stock in a hedge somewhere near us. Usually down a back lane. The shame of farmers...mind, they can just skop them at the local recycling plant now. ps my mates dad used to have an old Linda Lusardi calender hanging up in his garage, this was only upto a few years ago when his wife finally found out (after four decades!) 😂Ha Ha, nah, like all kids of my age I went to the more rural areas, parks, nature reserves, train tracks and looked for special interest magazines left in bushes.
Still performing it seems. Next gig in Florida. Had no idea she was known in the states.I was a big fan of Samantha Fox as a teen
She was from like 1987-91, and that's when I was buying albums and I had a poster of her. I grew up in a strict religious household but it got lessened as I was a teen and Sam really represented being sexy and free for me.Still performing it seems. Next gig in Florida. Had no idea she was known in the states.
Love your posters, and they've been an inspiration for me putting together a sheet of sci-fi posters myself. Bravo! Lovely stuff, as always.![]()
Outdone yourself Mr Stockin, really tried to derail your own thread! Ms Whittaker, I've not heard that name in an age - pearly whites and such a lovely pair... I digress!Yeah but Maria Whittaker and Wolf from Gladiators. Classic 80's fantasy gaming.
