Half Orc? Half Goblinoid?

^Sure. All of that is pretty well known. But GW never reconned their own story saying elves were actually made of magic pixie dust, or that Squats were evolved iron. They did decide that space orcs were a fungal infection. So no more half orcs after that.

^I suppose at some point you end up with the half Chihuahua and half St. Bernard problem. Might be best if the St. Bernard is the mother, not the father. But . . . how does that even work?

Inter-species breeding is hardly ever viable (mules being one of the few exceptions, and then sterile). By saying orcs and humans (or goblins and humans, or fimir and humans) can interbreed you are effective declaring them the same species. Unless you want to claim "cos fantasy".

Hey!

You said you want Orcs made of meat, if not for eating then surely not for...

Big Green Muscle Mommy Fan?
Some of the modern dnd 5e fanart and art station stuff of female orcs/ half orcs is getting like that...or opposite end, svelte-like and sexy. Green, pointy-eared, sharp-teethed 'viking queens' :D

Ligers & Tigons happen too.

You could, should you want, declare them the same genus rather than the same species. Though, to be frank, I'm fine with the cos fantasy explanation.

yep, Genus.. kinda. I'm pretty sure Humans, chimps and gorillas can mate but there hasn't been any confirmed examples last I heard.

Liger is Male Lion, female Tiger, Tigons is a Male Tiger, female lion.. and there are.. more confusing ones when two ligers mate, or a liger and a tigon etc...

Oh, Grolar and pizzly bears. Like Ligers and Tigons, aren't natural cause in nature they don't live in the same place, but Grizzle bears and Polar bears can produce offspring which again, can produce more offspring.

^Are you a troll? In the literal sense, not the internet sense. Can't imagine who else would want to eat something that stringy and suspicious. :D
Coincedentally, was reading Graeme Davis' blog this morning and he talks about a WFRP adventure sourcebook chef called Marcel de Morceaux, in Rough Night and Hard Days. Marcel has a written recipe for 'Troll a la Morceaux' ....:D
