Followers of the doomed dice (malal chaos)

My god of choice is malal always has been since I got a second hand warhammer fantasy RPG book and this week I finally got my hands on Kaleb daark miniatures so Decided to carry on with my malal force the "followers of the doomed dice" by starting small.... Work in progress of my dice mimic familiar .

Thank you kindly, I sculpted it last year for killer b games..... Yeah the colours of Malal are black and white so the side theme is fitting and I have purple through out the army to add a pop to the black and white

Funny enough, I've kinda been distracted so a couple of upcoming posts for my blog aren't at a stage I'm 100% happy with but one which was pretty much ready to go was on Daark and Malal to a degree ^_^

Oooooo can't wait to see, very much need some inspiration.... Always been my favorite god, never been able to get Kaleb until a few weeks ago when a mate found his old one

When I was sorting out some old stuff for sale, I saw in the box was the mounted version of Kaleb with his horse, so I was "right, I'm not selling that one, I'm having it" ^_^ painting is going slow due to the amount of limited colour options ^_^

Haha nice... He's a great character, the mount is very cool can't wait to paint it myself... Haha yeah with Malals black and white doesn't leave much to play around with, I go with purple cloaks etc with my army to break it up a bit

The whole Wagner and Grant Kaleb Daark strip was my era WFB 2ed, and had the model until sold back in the 90s. I'll cheerleader anything Malal! ....(Excepting Tony Ackland's 'Doombringer - lesser Daemon of Malal' with its hook arms. Still a nightmare in my head as a 14yr old!)

y'know Knightmare Miniatures out in spain do a nice ranged based on art... Not sure who sculpts what, but I know Boris Woloszyn (who has done quite a bit for some smaller companies) has done a number of the believed Malal dæmons (well.. some were kinda random designs which Tony Ackland had done and I think it was Rick Priestly who said "Yep, that'll do for Malal" etc, more then them being designed FOR that reason.

Yeah they are stunning sculpts one day I hope to get some... Checkpoints hook demons will do for now....... Yes that is right I was reading some stuff from Tony about it recently

...The only one I've seen is 'the hooked daemon' by OSM. Will look, ta....
And yes, looked there is the 'greater demon of malice' under the behemoth range of their pantheon of chaos range. Nice. Just like the TonyAckland drawing (but without the head + praying mantis claws on tail end!). Dragged pic off the realm of chaos blog on 'the malignancy of malal...'

Lost the visor in favour of just a simple dice helmet like my dice master sculpt I did for warblade miniatures
