Confrontation?

i have the whole file if any one is interested . the white dwarf didnt have rules for psychics and mutants . the play test script does . i know some people were looking for it and i manged to find it . i think they made a few other changes based on some peoples comments that i sent the script to

no i found it a few years ago on another forum . the guy that posted it said he worked for games workshop and was sent a copy to playtest

I'm not Eric but.. I'm probably gonna have to say no.. not so much about the size but.. copyright. just cause it wasn't fully released, doesn't mean it doesn't have copyright issues

It would be copyright issues alas for us. Yes I'd love to read them, but we can't host them or casually signpost to them if hosted elsewhere. There is a thread discussing it somewhere or other and a bit in the board rules about it.

So the "okay" would be someone posting a bit of rules in order to discuss them - a "hey in the playtest version of confrontation there was this cool bit about missile fire scatter" (or whatever) "what do you think they meant when they said roll a D13?" and you supply the accompanying page of the rules.

The not okay is a thread doing "here is a dump of all the rules come get". I'd say we're about at the limits with a few pages like above.

Obviously pretty much all GW stuff has been scanned to death and can be found online hosted by those with deeper pockets or scarier lawyers, but I don't want either a cease and desist letter arriving on my doormat or an actual court summons just because someone at GW was feeling grumpy that morning! :)

A pain I know, but I'd rather steer nicely clear of the line rather than skirting it. I suppose in Indiana Jones style - a document that historic belongs in a museum, or at least an archive ... ? Now if only there were an archive on or of the Internet.

The Confrontation 1990 copy in their "vault"? Easy enough to google for! I thought the info said it was just the WD stuff so hadn't bothered with it myself. Is it the copy that's floating around with this cover, or is that another compilation?
